Bio

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at Jones and Son Chapel, Moselle, for Mr. Tommy Robinson, age 82, of Laurel, who died May 13, 2016, at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Bill Brown and Bro. Patrick Patterson will officiate with burial to follow in the Moselle Memorial Gardens cemetery in Jones County Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Robinson, Jordan Boleware, Walt Boleware, Jeremy Shows, Jamie Wooten and D.J. Mazingo. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Stuart, Peyton Thompson, Austin Gonzoles, Michael Gonzoles and Jared Shows. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret “Polly” Robinson; parents, Wesley and Mattie Robinson; great grandson, Tommy Myrick ; one sister and four brothers. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Open Doors Baptist Church where he served as an ordained Deacon. He was a life long resident of Jones County and retired after 45 years of service as a Route Salesman with the Brown Bottling Company.
