James Ronald Dreiling, 64, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. James was a Fort Worth resident for 64 years and was an aircraft mechanic for General Dynamics. Survivors: step-son, Joe Dreiling; two sisters; and one brother. He loved him fiercely, kept him from shame. In a world that turned its back and withdrew, Ronnie, through struggle, he grew. A guide through the storms, a steady stake. He carried the weight, though his heart bled. His hands taught the trade of skyward flight, A bond forged in care, through day and night. At the end, when the world seemed too cruel, He gave the truth, though it shattered the rule. You were more than a son, more than a name— A boy who became a man, despite the blame. And now, though his voice has fallen to rest, His love still lives on in the one he blessed. For Ronnie, whose heart never turned away, We thank you, forever, for your light and your way.
