Bertie B. 'Nanny', 93, of Sunset Estates, Tecumseh and formerly of Midwest City, passed away October 7, 2006. Bertie was born August 10, 1913 in Conway, AR to George and Mary 'Wilson' Thompson. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and cooking. She loved to spend time with her family who thought of her as the world's best cook ever! Bertie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Midwest City. Her husband, William, whom she married in 1965, and a son, Charles Edward, precedes her in death along with 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by a sister Eula Coursey, a daughter Barbara Trimble, grandson and wife Mark and Molly Trimble, granddaughter and husband Patti and Jeff Christiansen; 3 great-granddaughters and husbands: Cristal and William Leetka, Sara and Korey Whitt, Tiffany Trimble and fiance Matthew Tate; great-grandson Troy Christiansen; and 3 great-great-grandsons: Timothy, Cameron, and Gage Leetka. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Bill Eisenhour N.E. Chapel with graveside service following at Konawa City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunset Estates for the loving care they gave her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May God bless you.
