Linnie Ola Pitts, 94, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Mrs. Pitts was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Munday to John and Lillie Lemley. She married Lee Roy Pitts on May 3, 1941. Mrs. Pitts was the last surviving sibling of 16 children. She was a longstanding member of Decatur Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught a ladies' Sunday school class for many years. She gave much of her time to different committees within the church. Her love of the Lord, the church and her family and friends showed in everything she did. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She made the best chicken and dressing in the world. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many. Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her parents; 15 brothers and sisters; her husband of 42 years; her daughter-in-law, Dana Pitts; and son-in-law, Kenneth Faulkner. Survivors: Sons, Dennis and wife, Dot Pitts, and Greg Pitts; daughter, Karen Faulkner; grandchildren, Andrew and wife, Kat Pitts, Matthew and wife, Theresa Faulkner, John and wife, Candice Faulkner, Danielle Wood, Dustin Wood; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Pitts, Cole Faulkner, Emily Faulkner, Trent Michael, Montana Faulkner, Cassidy Jeffery and Dylan Simpson.
