Darrell Gene Hetrick 1935 - 2004 VETERAN Darrell Hetrick, 69, Missoula, Montana, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Lake Inez in Montana. He was born September 10, 1935, at Norfolk*, Nebraska, to Henry and Mabel (Heller) Hetrick. He attended District 27 School and graduated from Pierce High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. In 1962, he married Sharon Fix and they lived in Norfolk, where he was a lineman for Nebraska Public Power District. They moved to Chadron in 1970, and he was an electrician for Chicago and North Western Railroad. They moved to Livingston, Montana, and later, to Burlington, Iowa, and Missoula, Montana, where he worked for railroads. He retired in 1998.
