Bio
Howard Joseph Cannon, forty years of age, passed away on July 2, 1939 at his home. He was a resident of Simmesport and a World War veteran. He was at one time connected with the shipping department of the US government in Galveston and Houston. He moved back to Louisiana about ten years ago. He is survived by his mother, Mary Howard Cannon; his wife, Eunie Mae Cannon; a son, Howard Joseph Cannon Jr; and a brother, Lester Joseph Cannon Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Joseph Cannon, who died June 22, 1925 in New Orleans.
