Bio
Dora E. Toal, 79, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery. Dora was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Paul Malcolm and Reba (Glaspy) Toal. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1954. She went on to attend Business College in Dallas, Texas. Dora worked for over 30 years for Southwestern Life Insurance Company as an accounting manager, she then went to work for Nationwide Computers System/PMSC and finally to Quality Inn as a receptionist. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Rebecca Lodge in Ennis. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and above all spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul M. Toal, Jr. Survivors include her nephews, Paul Toal and Pete Toal; and her Family of the Heart not birth, The Scroggins family; and sister-in-law, Linda Toal.
