Patricia Ann (Barker) Orren, 71, of Austin, Texas, passed away from this life on November 5, 2012, in Austin, Texas. The family will have a private interment at Arlington Memorial Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas. Patricia Orren was born June 15, 1941 in El Dorado, Arkansas, to parents Elvin and Peggy Barker. She graduated from El Dorado High School, El Dorado, Arkansas. During her marriage, she and her husband moved to Dallas, Texas, and began a family. She worked at Pepsi Cola and JC Penney's. Later years she received her realtors license and became an agent for Century 21. She was an avid collector. She loved to draw and paint in her leisure time but most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Elvin and Peggy Barker; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Faye Barker; son, Dusty Orren; and another son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Tina Orren. Survivors include a son, Bart Orren of Lewisville, Texas, daughter, Crystal Duke and husband, David of Roxton, Texas, and daughter, Alison Ziari and husband, Sean of Austin, Texas; nieces, Dona Barker, Linda Knau and Mona Barker; nephew, Jim Barker; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Austin's Christopher House, 2820 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Austin, TX 78702.
