Bobby Kent Moore October 4, 1929 - March 27, 2016 Obituary Bobby Kent Moore was born in Kaufman County, Texas on October 4, 1929 to the late Jessie and Ethel McMahen Moore. He passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 and entered into the presence of his Lord. In 1988, Bobby married Edie Murphy and became the loving dad to three daughters and Pawpaw Bob to 7 grandchildren. Bobby enjoyed traveling, fishing and working in his garden. He also loved to play a mean game of “Chicken-Foot” dominoes and 42. Bobby served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged May 21, 1954. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years, retiring as Post Master of the Terrell Post Office on August 31, 1990. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary Bob and daughter Wendy Elaine, brother Curtis Moore, wife Louise and ex-wife Mary Isham. Bobby is survived by his wife, Edie Moore of Elmo; stepdaughters Sherri Bell and husband, Paul; Sandra Harrelson and husband, Jimmy; Donna Rivera and husband, Chris – all of Terrell. Grandchildren Megan Moore, Brandon Pereles, Andrew Stiggers; Bethany and Cody Bell; Jeremy, Karissa, and Jamii Harrelson; Chasidy and Samuel Smith; Jaycie, Tristan and Aubrey Rivera; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Patricia Schutter and husband Dirk of Emory and Cathy White and husband Wayne of Chelsea, OK; loving brother-in-law, J.D. Murphy of Aledo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday March 30, 2016 at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 6p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 29 at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations.
