Delayed Birth Certificate dated 14 Nov 1956 gives place of birth as Ottumwa, Iowa. Name given as Whynema Esther Gee. ------------------ Married Pearl Hartley 11 May 1916 in Ottumwa, Wapello Co, Iowa. They divorced and married each other again 14 Apr 1917. And divorced again. Married Pearl Coy 7 Apr 1921 in Lancaster, Schuyler Co, Missouri. - Divorced. Married Nathan Woten, Jr 30 Aug 1926 in Monmouth, Monmouth Co, Illinois ------------------------ Mrs. Esther W Woten, 1412 41st St., Rock Island, died at 5:20 yesterday afternoon in St. Anthony's Hospital following a short illness. Services will be held at 1 Saturday afternoon in the Wheelan Funeral Home. The Rev. F. J. Rolf, pastor emeritus of the Church of Peace, will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon tomorrow. Mrs. Woten, the former Esther Gee, was born Feb. 10, in 1901 in Ottumwa, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Gee. She was reared and received her education in Ottumwa, and was married to Nathan Woten Aug 30, 1926 in Monmouth. She had been employed for the past six years at the Moline Moose Lodge and had resided in Rock Island since 1929. Mrs. Woten was a member of the auxiliary to the Moline Moose, auxiliary to the Moline Eagles, Eastern Star No. 315, Moline and Vashti White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a member of the women's auxiliary to the Rock Island Chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dittrich of Davenport and Dorothy Cloud of Centerville, Iowa; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, William E. Owen of Green Rock and a sister Goldie Gerth of Ottumwa. Her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
