Bio
Marcella Ann Hraban was born in Dwight to Adolph Ernest and Helen Mary (Soukup) Hottovy. Marcella, known by everyone as Marcie, was a 1944 graduate of Assumption High School, Dwight, Nebraska. Marcie married George Albert Hraban October 14, 1947 at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. They had three children: Gregory, Randall and Vickie. Marcie worked in Lincoln for the Elgin Watch Company before moving back to Dwight in 1953, where she owned and operated Hraban Thriftway Store for more than 38 years. Marcie was a longtime member of Assumption Catholic Church, Altar Society and the Dwight American Legion Auxiliary.
