Bio

Gloria Danz passed away March 23, 2016. She was born November 16, 1933, in Johnson City, Texas, to Andrew and Lula Criswell. Mrs. Danz married E.J. Danz in 1952. After her husband's discharge from the Army, they moved to Mathis. She started her career as a phone operator; then became secretary for Mengers Western Auto/ Steinmeyer John Deere. Mrs. Danz retired from First Prosperity Bank in 1999 after 26 years. Mrs. Danz was preceded in death by her parents, husband, E. J. Danz, infant son, two sisters, Ruby Crumley and Hester McClain and a brother, Cris Criswell. Graveside services will be held March 25, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Cenizo Hill Cemetery with Reverend Beth Tatom officiating.
