Bio
Isaac Rayno and his family lived in the Grand Island, Nebraska area. They farmed both in Nebraska and South Dakota. His wife, Margaret (St. Jacques) Rayno died in 1920 and he lived with his daughter, Idella Goodwin and her family just before his death. It is not known why he is buried in SD., nor where his wife is buried. This apparently is a cenotaph for his granddaughter Christine Virginia (Goodwin) Wicek Holz. Her actual burial site is in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Grand Island, NE #16588987 Quite possibly she was very attached to her grandfather during the time that he lived with her family and wished to be near him.
