Bio

Lawrence, son of Gustav and Louise Schwab Rohrich, was born in a sod house at Black Hill Creek near Sartoria. In 1919 his family moved to a farm near southwest of Pleasaanton. Lawrence married Stella Swearingen in 1929. They had two daughters, Jeanice Myers and Ramelle Termine. In 1936 Stella died from a lengthy illness. Lawrence and Emma Busch, daughter of August and Emma Kahle Busch, were married in 1938. They had four children: Francis, Marvin, Donna, and Elma. Lauwrence and Emma lived and farmed in the Riverdale-Pleasanton area all their married life. Their children attended school in Pleasanton and the family attended St. Mary's Catholic Church.
