Bio

Mrs. Rodney Rathbun, the former Christina Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Peterson of Ord, died suddenly in a hospital in San Diego, which city has been her home in recent years. Taken ill a few weeks ago, the last reports from her had been quite favorable. Mr. and Mrs. Cash Rathbun, her parents-in-law, had gone to San Diego to be with her and her husband and to assist in the care of her three small children. The body will be brought to Ord for burial and will be accompanied by her husband, also Mr. and Mrs. Cash Rathbun and the children. Funeral plans are delayed pending the arrival, which will be the last of the week. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Nov 20 1952, Sec 1, Pg 1, Col 2 ------------------------------------------- Rathbun Family Delayed Because of some technicalities peculiar to the state of California, it was impossible for Rodney Rathbun to bring the body of his wife, the former Christina Peterson who died suddenly last week, back to Ord, immediately, as planned. From last reports, Mr. and Mrs. Cash Rathbun, and Mr. Rathbun, their son, with the three grandchildren, plan to leave California on Monday and will arrive in Ord on Wednesday. Funeral plans are pending. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Rathbun and their family lived in San Diego, Calif.
