Times-News, Twin Falls, ID Thursday, May 5, 1977 Marshall Stoehr Jerome - Marshall B. Stoehr, 70, Jerome, died Wednesday at Twin Falls Clinic Hospital after a long illness. Born Dec. 28, 1906, in Rushville, Neb., he attended schools in Rushville and Stuart, Neb. He married Katie Masek, Dec. 14, 1926 in Chadron, Neb. They farmed in Nebraska until 1937 when they moved to Mud Lake, Idaho, and then to American Falls. They lived on a farm west of Jerome from 1944-1947. At that time, they moved into Jerome where MR. Stoehr was employed by Ida Gem Dairymen until he retired seven years ago. He attended the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Jerome; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Virginia) Osborn, Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Thomas (Beverly) Shannon, Burlingame, Calif.; one son, Duane Stoehr, American Falls; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be a t2 pm Saturday at Hove Funeral Chapel by Rev. Leslie A. Lewis and Rev. Charles Shaklee. Burial will be in the Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel Friday afternoon and evening and until 1:30 pm Saturday. -------------------------------------------------- Northside News, Jerome, ID May 12, 1977 Marshall B. Stoehr Funeral services for Marshall B. Stoehr, 70, who died May 4 at Twin Falls Clinic Hospital, were held May 7 at Hove Funeral Chapel. Officiating were the Rev. Leslie A. Lewis and the Rev. Charles G. Shaklee. Mrs. John Yeates sand "One Day At A Time", Mrs. Sheldon Slagel sang "He the Pearly Gates Will Open", and Mrs. Russell King and Mrs. Ollis Wall sang "Beautiful Garden of Prayer". Honorary bearers were Richard Featherstone, Gerald Scarrow, Melvin Newlan, Arlys Bartlett, Hall Bingham, Bert Wright. Active bearers were Clarence Anderson, Clair Downing, Bob Rehrer, Billy Joe Johnson, Russell King and Lyle Byce. Final rites were at the Jerome Cemetery.
