Dorothy Jean Stewart, 75 of West Columbia, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Sugar Land. She was born April 4, 1940 in West Columbia, Texas to George Joseph and Martha Sternadel Rab. Funeral services will be held 9:00am, Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with burial following at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Stewart, Jim Stewart, Ben Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Ian Stewart, Mike Rab, Charles Rab, Charley Scott, Blake Scott and Jason Scott. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Jim Stewart of West Columbia and Lee Stewart and wife, Pam of West Columbia; grandsons, Ben, Phillip and Ian Stewart; brother, Mike Rab and wife, Donna of Brazoria; Charles Rab and wife, Jackie of Cedar Lane; sisters, Barbara Rab of Sweeny; Nancy Pieper and husband, Sonny of Liverpool, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charley and Kathy Scott of Georgetown along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her, husband, P.L. “Bubba” Stewart and sister, Brenda Sue Rab.
