Decatur Herald 11/16/1927 SULLIVAN-Nov 16--Mrs.Sarah E.Rhodes died in the home of her son, Tobias Rhodes at 1502 Washington street in this city early Tuesday morning. She was 85 years of age and since the death of her husband, Andrew M.Rhodes, she had made her home here. Before that she had lived on a farm near Dunn. Another son,Mayhew Rhodes, also lives in Sullivan. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev.C.E.Barnett in the Christian church Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
