Bio

Erna was the 5th of 11 children. All her siblings are listed here, except H. Arthur who was born in 1899. She was just one year younger than my Gpa Leo. Erna married Frank O Parade on April 24, 1928 in Cook County, ILL. In the Chicago, Ill. 1930 Census, Frank stated he was 32 years old when they married, (Erna was 36). Frank's occupation was listed as "salesman" and the business was "Aviation School". Possibly he was a student at the time. Erna was listed as "cashier" at a "restaurant". They were lodgers along with a few other young couples at was 3122 Washington Blvd. which is now a vacant lot. Frank died by the age of 40, leaving Erna alone, as there is no evidence of children. The last name is pronounced "Pardee". RIP Great Aunt Erna
