Baldwyn- Linda Jewel Waters Kirk Tapp 81, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. Jewel, known to most as "Gran" was so much to so many people. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She truly was a special angel that walked on earth for a while but can finally spread her wings for all eternity. We love her really, really, really so much. She had worked at Farmers Merchants Bank and owned & operated Jewel's Antiques in Baldwyn for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Baldwyn. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Petermann and Bro. Ken Corley officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Kellie McCarley (Ricky), Hunt Kirk (Kathy), Mark Tapp (Lana), Ricky Tapp (Kay) and Barb Peterson (Mike); Grandchildren, Shea McCarley (Shanna), Misty Applegate (Chad), Brandon Kirk, Logan Kirk, Dustin Kirk, Shannon Fraiser (Tommy), Justin Tapp (LeShae), Suzanne Wallis (Michael), Bo Tapp (Shanna), Kara Tapp, John Tapp (Rosal); Great-grandchildren, Maddox, Hayden, Ethan, Shaylee, Luke, Levi, Tapp, Judd, Mary Mathis, Porter, Burke, Coley, Haley, Jordan and Payton and a Brother, Doug Waters (Betty); special friends, Mittie Moreland, Mary Lee Michaels and Ruby Moore. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Frank Kirk and Clyde Tapp; her parents, JW and Pearl Waters; Son, Arty Tapp; daughter, Betsy Gibbs and son-in-law, Bobby Gibbs. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons and Grandsons-in-laws. Honorary pallbearers will be Class of 1952 and her "coffee girls". In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Baldwyn First United Methodist Church or the Lebanon Cemetery Fund.
