The funeral service for William Bouska, 84, who died Wednesday afternoon at his home in the Creechville community, was held at 2 p.m. in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Sidney Roberts, pastor of the First Methodist Church and Joe Vytopil officiating. Interment was in the Myrtle Cemetery with Mr. Bouska's grandsons serving as pallbearers: Raymond Bouska, Richard Bouska, Robert Bouska, Edwin Bouska, all of Dallas, Charlie Bouska and George Patak, both of Ennis. Mr. Bouska was born in Czechoslovakia on December 18, 1878 and came to the United States at the age of 21, settling in Alsdorf, Ellis County. Two years later he was married to Mary Brozek. They lived in Alsdorf for a while, later moving to the Creechville community, where Mr. Bouska farmed until his retirement several years ago. Mrs. Bouska died on August 2, 1943. Surviving him are five sons, Jerry Bouska, William Bouska Jr., both of Dallas, Charlie Bouska, Ennis; Leslie Bouska, Garland; Albin Bouska, Ennis; one daughter, Mrs. Joe R. Patak, Ennis; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters in Czechoslovakia. Mr. Bouska was a member of the SPJST Lodge and Sokol.
