Bio

Dorothy Harper Cain, 90, of Quitman, was born July 5, 1925 in Aubrey to Thomas and Mary Harper and passed away peacefully in her home on March 6, 2016. Dorothy graduated from Kilgore High School in 1942 and married the love of her life, Henry Cain. They moved to Quitman in 1953 where Mrs. Cain worked as a legal secretary for Flynt & Pickett Law Office. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Quitman. Mrs. Cain was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 31 1/2 years, Henry F. Cain. Survivors include four sons, Bob Cain and wife Yvonne of Quitman, Charles Cain and wife Nancy of Quitman, Larry Cain and wife Tommie of Kilgore, and Scooter Cain and wife Ann of Henderson; one brother, J.C. Harper and wife Evelyn; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
