Bio
Izola Vodehnal, 96, of Searcy, died Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born September 19, 1919 in Fairfield, Nebraska, the daughter of Ira and Helen McReynolds. Izola is survived by one son, Gary Vodehnal and wife Shauna; one daughter, Phyllis Stertz and husband Joe; a brother Cecil McReynolds and wife Virginia; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, E. H. Vodehnal; and three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Searcy. Visitation will be Monday, February 29 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net
