Anna Louise (Moore) Wintle, 84, of West Lafayette died at University Place on Saturday, September 1, 2007. Born in Dallas, TX. on July 23, 1923 to the late Charles J. and Louise (Egger) Moore. She has resided in West Lafayette since 1983. She also resided in Conroe, TX, Cuba, Green Castle, Evanston, IL; Kirklin, Merrillville, Winamac, Dyer, Knox, Lafayette, and South Bend. She was a 1945 graduate of Depauw University. She married the Rev. Frederick Wintle on March 24, 1945 in Green Castle, IN, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1988. Mrs. Wintle was a Pastor's Wife and Professional Volunteer. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Theta Sigma Phi, National Women's Journalistic Honorary, eta chapter Alpha Gamma Delta at Depauw University. She was a former Women's Division Director of the General Board of Global Ministries, member of United Methodist Women, Church Women United, Chapter E.M. of P.E.O. Sisterhood, and Wabash Valley Gem and Mineral Society. Visitation from 9:30 - 10:30am Friday, September 7, 2007 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Service at 10:30 Friday at the church. Pastor Tim Burchill officiating. Interment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. She is survived by two nieces, Nancy Kincaid (Husb: Scott) and Karen DeBellis (Husb: Mike). She is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews, and various baby relatives. Memorial contributions may be made to any United Methodist Women's Unit. --Hippensteel Funeral Home Obituary
