Services for Jane Louise Thomas, 52, of Hobbs were held in Calvary Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Pate of Monument First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Monument Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at her residence. She was born Aug. 25, 1945, in Berry. She married Otis Leo Thomas on Sept. 10, 1960, in Field City. She was a Baptist. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; a son, Otis Alan of Hobbs; two daughters, Loretta Jane Byrd of Hobbs and Dawn Rene Ruth of Valley View; a brother, Doyle Jackson of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Syble Rich of Farmers Branch, and Laura Sutter and Anna Belle Hambrick, both of Irvin; and two grandchildren.
