Hilda “Lorraine” Preisler, 86, of West Columbia, Texas passed away at Cypress Woods Care Center in Angleton, Texas, on Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born April 13, 1929 in Newgulf , Texas to Ludwig and Hilda (Bremser) Preisler. She retired from Exxon Oil Company after 28 years of employment. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in West Columbia at the Columbia Cemetry with B. J. McCurdy officiating. Lorraine is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joe and Janette Doyle of West Columbia; and by her niece, Judith Conaway (Carroll) of West Columbia. She is also survived by her great niece, Julia Badders of Plano, Texas, and great nephew, Jake Badders of West Columbia, both whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her companion, “Buffy”. Final arrangements entrusted to Dixon Funeral Home of Brazoria at (979) 798-9113.
