Bio
Patsy Ann Roper, 79 of St. Louis, died at 8:38 a.m., Sunday, December 27, 2015, at St. John’s Mercy in St. Louis. Private family services and burial will be in Warrenton City Cemetery at a later date. Patsy was born June 15, 1936, in St. Louis County, a daughter of Hardee Hayden and Delores (Sharp) Knight. She was married to Steve Roper who preceded her in death. Patsy worked for Watlow Electric until retirement. Survivors include two brothers, Bob Knight and wife Judy of Mexico, and Sam Knight and wife Debbie of House Springs, Mo; two sisters, Lorraine Rouse and husband Alvin of Cuba, Mo and Darlene Stratman and husband Bud of Marilyn Heights, Mo; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Arrangements are being handled by Pickering Funeral Home.
