He was active in Bohemian fraternal and civic work and a member of the Tel Jed Sokol and Z.C.B.J. lodges. He leaves a daughter, Miss Josephine, of Omaha; seven sons, August, of Streator, Ill., Frank, of Chicago, Edward, of Oakland, Cal., and Sam, James, Anton and John all of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Jirovec, of Czechoslovakia, and Mrs. Katherine Toman, of Omaha. Brewer Korisko mortuary is in charge.
