CANTON - Services for Opal J. Rogers Eppler, 80, Canton, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Eubank Funeral Home chapel, Canton, with the Rev. Steve Glosup officiating. Burial will be in Crandall Cemetery, Crandall. Mrs. Eppler died Sept. 20, 2006, in Tyler. She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Hiram community to the late Kirk and Emma Samples Clemmons. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George W. Rogers Sr. and Denville Eppler; daughter, Kimberly Renae Rogers; and grandson, Bobby Joe Mayne Jr. Survivors include son, George Rogers, Dallas; daughter, Betty Ward, Canton; sisters, Ruby Baucom, Dallas, and Gener Baxler, Seven Points; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are George Rogers, Robert Rogers, Ricky Rogers, Little Robert Rogers, Brandon Mayne, Nathan Bassett and Josh Grant. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
