Bio

William Sylvester Buckner, was born in Alvarado, Texas on November 10, 1921 to Waitus Sylvester Buckner and Lula (Binam) Buckner. He passed away on February 6, 2016 in Gilbert, Arizona. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Penny Gold; his granddaughters, Stephanie (Jeff) Gallini and Stacey (Randy) Pitts; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Gallini, Tyler Pitts, Brittany Pitts, Bryce Gallini, Katie Pitts and Mailee Pitts. William enjoyed fishing and had many "fish" stories over the years. He is survived by his loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel with the visitation one hour prior at Restland Funeral Home. Interment in the Court of Trinity following the service.
