Bio

Hollis Goodman, 49, funeral will be held Thursday at Shell Creek Lutheran church at Newman Grove with burial in the parish cemetery. Robert Hollis Goodman was born Aug. 23, 1908 near Springfield, Missouri to Mr. and Mrs. Dolhus Goodman. He died*** July 21 at the age of 49 years, 11 months and 2 days. He was married on Oct. 6, 1931 to Miss Dorothy Larson. They had 6 children. "They had lived in this community since their marriage and for 12 years have been on a farm six miles and one-half miles northwest of Newman Grove." He was survived by his wife, 3 daughters [1 married], 3 sons, 4 grandchildren, his grandmother Mrs. A. Marshall, 96, at Ash Grove, Missouri; 2 sisters, 5 brothers.
