Nonnie Linnea Vance, 73 of Lowell passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born November 25, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi to William Joseph and Marie Stina Spain Zogheib. Nonnie graduated from the University of Arkansas earning a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She worked for more than thirty years for Arkansas Department of Human Services. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid Canasta and card player. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Marie Jones, William Zogheib, and her former husband, Hershell Vance. Survivors include two daughters, Leisha Vance of Lexington, KY; Lynnlee Hutchison of Fayetteville, AR and two brothers, William Thomas Jones and wife Donna of New Braunfels, TX and Charles Jones of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Lavinia Jones Straka and husband Larry of Carmichael, CA and two grandchildren, Brynn Delaney and William Dale Hutchison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor John Sheely officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.
