Melba Geraldine "Gerry" Pell Criger, 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 28, 2016. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, February 1, 2016, in Melissa Cemetery. Gerry was born in Van Alstyne, Texas, to the late William Walter and Odessa (Young) Pell. She grew up in Van Alstyne, where she attended school. Gerry married Harold Criger on August 20 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, later settling in McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband; and four brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Shannon Criger, of McKinney, Texas; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. D21
