Bio

Jane Mikkelson Schmidt, 76, Broomfield, CO, and formerly of Utica, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1993, in Colorado. She was born Dec. 25, 1916 to Casper and Grace (Grimes) Mikkelson at Utica. She graduated from Utica High School and attended business school. She worked in Lincoln prior to her marriage. She married Harry Schmidt, and they moved to Denver, where they lived until retirement. Mrs. Schmidt was preceded in death by four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Harry, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dale Schmidt, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Peter Stone; and three granddaughters. Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 21, at Howe Mortuary in Boulder.
