Bio

Pokorny, Virgil B., 71, of Chandler, Arizona entered eternal rest in heaven on January 14, 2016 after a long series of illnesses. Virgil was born on January 21, 1944 in Surprise, Nebraska to Ivan and Mary (Kozisek) Pokorny. He served in the United States Navy and was united in marriage with Patricia (Klundt) Pokorny. Virgil owned and operated his own drywall contracting business. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Bert and Larry Pokorny. He is survived by his wife Patricia Pokorny; children: Michael Hulse and Laurie Meyer; granddaughter Amanda Burke; sister Monica Tvrdy; sisters-in-law: Lenore and Jean Pokorny and many nieces and nephews.
