Bio

THE GADSDEN TIMES, Tuesday, May 22, 1979: Homer S. Huie, 75, Windsor Street, East Gadsden, died Monday following a sudden illness. Graveside service Wednesday at Crestwood Cemetery. Survivors, son, Norman Huie; daughter-in-law, Martha Huie and two granddaughters, Susan and Sarah. Also surviving are two brothers, Houston Huie, Auburn and Hoyt Huie, Gadsden. Native of Oneonta, Alabama and resident of Gadsden for 50 years. He was retired from the Engineering Department at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with 38 years service. He was a member of Antioch Methodist Church, Blount County, AL.
