Bio

From Wetaskiwin Times, July 21, 1927: Passed from this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E Pulkrabek, Edmonton, Wednesday, July 13th. The deceased was born in Iowa in 1861 and married to the Rev. J.H. Edwards, minister of the Baptist Church, in 1876. Her husband predeceased her in 1922. She leaves to mourn her loss eight children, Mrs. M. Conwell, of Laramie, Wyoming; Mr. T.L. Edwards, Hettinger, N.D.; Mrs. J. Redman, Wetaskiwin; Mr. B.C. Edwards, Mooswa, Alberta; Mrs. J. Jackson, St. Paul, Alberta; Mrs. E. Pulkrabek, Edmonton; Mr. E.Edwards, Wetaskiwin, and Miss Iein, of St. Paul. The funeral service was held in the First United Church, Wetaskiwin, on Saturday, July 16th, conducted by Rev. A.L. Elliott, and attended by many friends whom she won during her sojourn in this district. Mrs. J.H. Montgomery sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." Banks of flowers bore witness to the love and sympathy of the many friends of the departed and the bereaved family and relatives. ****** Ancestry shows parents as Henry Harrison Brown (1839-1911) and Eliza Ann young (1843-1864), both passing in Iowa.
