Graveside services for Okanita "Nita" Neel, 96, of Denson Springs were held at Muse Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Bailey & Foster. She died at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Ben and Nan Foster. Mrs. Neel was a homemaker and member if the First Baptist Church in Slocum. Mrs. Neel was preceded in death by her grandson, Gerald Lively. She is survived by her daughter, Lavon Lively and husband Preston of Denson Springs; a son, Jerry Ray and wife Judy of Houston; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
