Bobbie Howard March 31, 1935 - January 13, 2016 Bobbie Howard, 80, died January 13, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Howard was born March 31, 1935 in Dallas. She had been a resident of Lefors most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. Bobbie loved to crochet and make ceramics. She worked for numerous cafes and the cafeteria with Lefors ISD. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda LaJoyce Gilbreath of Lefors; her son, Kenneth Duane Howard and wife Kim of Aztec, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Starla Hamilton, Amber Arnzen, Justin Howard, Heather Harvill, Jerimey Howard, Kiberly Howard and Kenny Joe Howard; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Boker Bigham of Shallowater, and Richard Simco of Arlington, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Collum and Evelyn Lambert Bigham; her stepfather, C. H. “Tead” Bigham; a daughter, Deborah Kay Howard; a son, Bobby Ray Howard; two brothers, Sonny Bigham and Harris Tead Bigham; and her son-in-law, Larry Gilbreath in 2014. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Gene Gee, Church of Christ minister of Lefors, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Howard was born March 31, 1935, in Dallas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda LaJoyce Gilbreath of Lefors; a son, Kenneth Duane Howard of Aztec, N.M.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Boker Bigham of Shallowater and Richard Simco of Arlington.
