Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Elva Haralson, 71, who died July 2nd in a Wichita Falls hospital, were held Tuesday in First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Ainsworth, pastor, and Rev. William Ethridge, a former pastor officiating. Interment was in New Electra Cemetery under direction of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Haralson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra where she was a teacher of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a retired office worker for Texaco Inc., and had lived in Electra for the past 40 years. She is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Myers of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Stewart of Enid, Oklahoma, Mrs. Bessie Swafford of Monahans, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders of Tuscon, Arizona, and Mrs. Audie Maulding of Barstow, Texas; a brother, L.D. Wilkins of Monahans; and two granddaughters._ Electra Star-News July 6, 1978
