Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary (Barnas) Pier; wife, Sharon (Hansen) Pier; son, Michael Pier; sister, Florence Molczyk; and brothers, Alvin, Ralph, and Donald Pier. Survived by children and spouses, Cheryl and Tom Krupski, Connie and Jerome Wees, Donald and Deb Pier, Debra and Charles Roth, and John and Jennifer Pier; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, LaVerna Gavin, and Peggy and Cletus Gavin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. FUNERAL MASS is Thursday at 10:30am at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. INTERMENT in St. John's Cemetery. VISITATION is Wednesday 2-7pm, with family Receiving friends 5-7 pm, and VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm, all at Mortuary.
