SHINER - Mary Martha Bujnoch, age 94, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was born July 29, 1921 in Shiner to the late Ben and Anna Caka Berckenhoff. She was married to Anton J. Bujnoch for 62 years and was blessed with 9 children. She worked hard all her life but is best known for being a 'great Mom and grandmother'. She was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and KJZT. Survivors are her children, sons, George A. Bujnoch (Genevieve) of Luling and Don Bujnoch (Eva) of Luling; daughters, Joan Sralla (Phillip) of Shiner, Jeanette Dierschke of Shiner, Dagmar Vana (David) of Shiner, Dorothy Winkenwerder (Paul) of Shiner, Peggy Roznovsky (Bobby) of Shiner, Paulette Landers (Tommy) of Bellville and Denise Pilat (Curtis) of Shiner; 26 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Anton J. Bujnoch; grandson, Roger Sralla; son-in-law, Larry Dierschke; brother, Frank J. Berckenhoff. Rosary 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Burial at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
