Bertha Bell Anderson Williams, 90, of Heber Springs went home to see her Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born January 5, 1926 in Center Ridge, AR to the late Joseph and Tennie Grayson Anderson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie A. Williams Sr. Bertha truly enjoyed life and living. As a young woman she made the trip to California by train to work in the shipyards during the war. Later on she met and married Arlie A. Williams, they were married for forty-seven years. She spent much time gardening, quilting, and taking care of her family. Before retirement she spent several years working at Interstate Mfg. in Morrilton where she made many dear friends. Bertha loved her family and she loved The Lord. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and a dedicated Christian working hard for The Lord. Bertha made sure you knew what was important in life, number one, faith in God and loving your family. Bertha is survived by two daughters, Margaret Williams & Arlene Anderson (David), all of Heber Springs, her three sons, Arlie A. Williams Jr. (Gayle) and Marvin Lee Williams (Gay) all of Cleveland, and Thomas Joe Williams of Center Ridge. Her grandchildren were precious shining lights in her life. Grannie is survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Thru the last several years she was loved by many who took great care of her at Southridge Village Nursing and Rehab and our local Cleburne County Hospice. We want to thank all of those special people who loved and cared for Mom.
