Glenna Dean (Case) Nelson Moorhead, 77, of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 6, 2016. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2016, in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Glenna was born in Bowie, Texas, to the late Odie B. and Dovie Lee (Caton) Case. Glenna married Bobby Charles Nelson on December 18, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma. On February 14, 2004, she married Jerry Moorhead in McKinney, Texas. Glenna was a member of Northwest Christian Church in McKinney. She attended Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. Glenna was very active in the community. She helped people get to church and to doctor appointments. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 47 years, Bobby, on October 7, 2001; second husband of nine years, Jerry, on April 6, 2013; and several siblings. Glenna is survived by her sons, Rick Nelson and wife, Linda, of Toledo, Ohio, Marty Nelson and wife, Karen, of Anna, Texas; daughter, Sharon Frizzell and husband, Philip, of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren: Allison Frizzell-Kizer and husband, Chris, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Stephen Frizzell, of McKinney, Amber Gonzales and husband, George, of Van Alstyne, Jacob Nelson, of Sherman, Lauren Grotjan, of Van Alstyne, and Hallie Masias and husband, Justin, of McKinney; five great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin Case, of Bowie, Texas; sisters: Dorothy Franklin and Hazel Free, both of McKinney, and Pat Coalman and husband, Lee, of Pasco, Washington; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
