Bio
Kelly Deann Rhea, 47, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. Kelly was born March 17, 1968, in Childress. Father, Joe Klapper and mother, Brenda Klapper. She graduated from Palo Duro High School. Kelly married Cord Rhea on July 17, 1990, in Amarillo. She worked as a nail technician for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Klapper, in October 2015. Survivors include her husband, Cord Rhea, of the home; a son, Josh Rhea, of Amarillo; a daughter, Haley Rhea, of Amarillo; her mother, Brenda Klapper, of Amarillo; and a brother, Kevin Klapper, of Amarillo. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at Hillside Christian Church South, 6901 S. Bell, with Craig Albracht, Campus Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
