Bio

Charles Murrel Hall, 73, of Rio Dell, died Wednesday morning at his home after a long illness. He was born in Rulo, Nebraska, and had lived in California the last 32 years, the last four in Rio Dell. He worked for the Los Angeles School System as a carpenter for 23 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellow's Lodge in Rulo, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Lulu M.; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Edgecomb of Grants Pass, Oregon; Mrs. Margaret Ogden of El Monte, California; two brothers, Jess M. Hall of Fall City, Nebraska; Samuel Hall of Milford, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Jondrow of Rulo; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary with the Rev. Dale J. Nicholson officiating. Graveside services will be held at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka, under the auspices of the Odd Fellow's Lodge. Pallbearers will be members of the Odd Fellow's Lodge.
