Daily Independent Journal Thursday, May 11, 1967 Charles Karcher, 65, an unemployed carpenter, was found dead yesterday in his hotel room at 817-A Fourth Street, San Rafael. Death apparently was due to natural causes, reported Deputy Coroner Keith Craig, pending an autopsy. He had been dead for several days. Karcher, who was divorced, was a native of Texas. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Mayfield, and 2 brothers, Thomas and Joseph Karcher, all of Texas. Funeral will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Keaton's Mortuary, San Rafael.
