Explaining was harder than correcting them. All of the family knew that it was actually Ned. They were called 'Essie and Ted' at almost every ranch that he foremanned for. He was foreman for the Westbrook Ranch, the 7L Ranch and the Twin Mountain ranches after he and Essie married and he left Menard, TX. He was such a wonderful and kind person and he worked so hard all his life. I am sure that it contributed to his early death at the age of 61.
