Howard Mom: Pinkney Kruger Informant: Mrs. Morae Howard (wife) -------------- Obit: Leo Howard Dies Wednesday In Odessa Leo Howard, 53, Of Odessa, son of Mrs. S.A. Howard of Chridress and a native if the High Point Community died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in a Midland Hospital following a lengthy ill- ness. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Odessa, Interment will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Mr. Howard was born July 13,1913 at High Point and was a graduate of Childress schools. He began working for the Humble Pipeline Co. in 1936 in Childress, later moving to Pampa and then to Odessa. He was a district superintendent for the company at the time of his death. He and the former Moree Meece were married December 31,1931. Mr. Howard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Big Spring. Surviving are his wife of the home; sons, Micky and Jimmy, a daughter-in-law and two grand- sons, all of Odessa, three brothers, Charlie Howard of Childress, Monroe of Amarillo and George of Clovis, N.M.; six sisters, Mrs. Otho Hill, Miss Joyce Howard, Mrs. W.L. Foster and Mrs. H.L. Selman, all of Childress, Mrs. Mary Woods of Amarillo, and Mrs. Don Kenney of Needles, Calif., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jo3 (sic) Hardin of Childress.
