CALDWELL – Services for William A. (Bill) Baletka, 27, were at 2 p.m. Monday at the new Tabor Brethren Church near Caldwell with the Rev. Tommy Tallas officiating. Burial was in the New Tabor Brethren Church Cemetery. He died Friday in an Austin hospital. Mr. Baletka was born in Temple to the Rev. John and Joyce Siptak Baletka Jr. He graduated from Central High School in San Angelo and attended the University of Texas at Austin. He was a National Merit Scholar semi-finalist and an accomplished musician. He had been a resident of Austin since graduation and worked for the secretary of state’s office. He was a member of the Wall Brethren Church near San Angelo. Survivors are his parents, the Rev. John and Joyce Baletka Jr. of Caldwell; two brothers, Mark Baletka of New Orleans, La, and Jim Baletka of College Station’ maternal grandfather, Joe H. Siptak of Caldwell’ and paternal grandmother, Rosa Baletka of Taylor.
